Fantastic! We sat at the bar. Great service! Amazing food and wine. We really enjoyed our experience.
My experience at Cecconi's was a good one. The waiter was super cool and the bartender makes the best espresso martinis in my opinion. The ambiance was nice, super clean elegant and the view was amazing, they were nice to let us in with no reservation, although the place was packed.
Stars for the Saturday bar crew here: I was solo for the moment, seeking respite from the rainy-day downtown hurry-up, so I ducked up from the R train at 28th to find a seat at this classically-appointed, Italian-inflected hotel bar/bistro. It had the calming hum that good hotel bars provide. The three folk in the bar staff were pleasantly in control, attentive at the right time, and friendly - they went the extra to find the drink I was after, and a lighter too. Nice pour and just when I returned from the street to retrieve my forgotten umbrella one of the bartenders was already at the door, handing it over.
Cecconi's NoMad is such a delightful experience. Hosts are attentive and warm, servers are welcoming and did a great job at offering suggestions for the menu selections. Their whipped ricotta is a must try, followed by the Tuna (Cecconi's style), Meatballs, Octopus and pretty much any pasta dish will have you in bliss. Kudos to the entire team for navigating such a full house with exceptional grace and service. Ambiance was fresh and bright during my breakfast visits and warm and cozy during evening hours. Drinks are always a hit.
Nice new Cecconi's location in Nomad / Flatiron in The Ned Nomad hotel. Only came here for after dinner drinks, but the vibe / ambiance, staff, and drinks were all great. Walked right in and sat at the bar around 9. Great stools! Bartender was friendly but knew to leave us alone to talk (honestly more bartenders should take note of this). Ordered the Martini #2 - incredible
It's a really great Italian fine dining spot. Good for a intimate dinner date/business meeting or just to catch up with friends. Service was great the entire staff was amazing friends/family had an amazing time. food was Also excellent! Thank you Catalina for taking good care of us!
Jelena at the bar is an absolute pro!! She made a casual stop-in on a random Monday afternoon an absolute treat. People like her are rare these days - single handedly elevated my entire experience and paid attention to every single detail.
We were staying at the Ned hotel and had breakfast here. Upscale and elegantly decorated dining room. We had the avocado toast (good portion and the basil added extra freshness) and the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. Americano and chai latte were also made well. 5/5 for service! They were extremely accommodating with a food intolerance and our server even shook our hands as we left. So welcoming!
Summary: Incredibly quaint and fancy little spot inside the Nomad hotel... def a good place to ball out on a fancy meal with good service Went here with family for a birthday celebration and was delighted by the quality of the food and the service. The waiters were incredibly attentive and good at recommending dishes for us when it came time to order. I ordered the mountain Margherita and it was sooo amazing , but a bit light on the alcohol for how expensive it was. The price is really the main downfall of this place because nothing is overly spectacular, but nothing is bad or flavorless so its hard to say.... but i dont think the price is proportionate and it is quite expensive to eat here. All of the main corses were good, I enjoyed the chopped salad and a flat bread which was not too greasy which is hard to do with truffle and goat cheese so i was impressed by that. Probably not coming back because I can not afford to but if i was rich this would be a cute spot !
